The same thing is with the fashion styles and the industry. We have gone from clothing covering our legs arms and necks to wearing skimpy and next to nothing all in the name of fashion. This is the result of imagination and innovation.

Though commercialised, the fashion industry has done a tremendous job by helping us to cover our nakedness as well as bring styles and trends to the table.

The fashion industry includes retailers, multinationals, production houses, publishers and more. All of these companies provide business to more traditionally-accepted fields such as law, finance, and technology. Some of the biggest deals that employ JD- and MBA-holding folks come out of the fashion industry.

 Take the fashion industry out of today’s economy, the global recession will be 10 times what it is now.

Although most of the fashion styles in today’s fashion shows are not wearable, yet they bring creative ideas to the individuals involved with the designs. The fact that someone came up with an idea of a garment to wear however crazy it may look, is a brilliant one; and it should be applauded. We are created differently with different talents, colours, attitudes and tastes. If we are all doctors or lawyers, the world will lack variety and it will be very boring.
